Big Give Women and Girls' Match Fund 2026

We are really excited to be taking part in the Big Give Women and Girls’ Match Fund Campaign again this year. From 6th-13th October, every donation made through the Big Give platform will be DOUBLED, meaning that your generous gifts will go twice as far, and help twice as many families!

£10 could make sure visitors to our Mums’ Hubs can receive a free hot drink that someone else has made (for a change)

£50 could allow us to train up a new volunteer Mum2Mum befriender, to provide one-to-one support to a young mum for up to 2 years

£100 could allow a mum or dad to take part in one of our parenting courses free of charge.

How can I get involved?

We’ve suggested some ideas below to start you off- but the sky’s the limit! If you’d like to discuss a fundraising idea with one of our fundraising team, contact our office and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible to make it happen! We can also provide you with leaflets and other resources.

HOLD A BAKE SALE

Everyone loves cake- and cake for a good cause tastes even better! Why not organise a bake sale at your school, church or workplace, and donate the proceeds to our Big Give page between 6th and 13th October?

If you’d like us to send you some Princess Project cake toppers then contact the office!

GATHER YOUR FRIENDS

We’re all about community at the Princess Project, so why not gather some friends at your house for coffee and a catch up, and each donate what you would have spent going out to our Big Give campaign? That £4 coffee will become an £8 donation thanks to our generous match funders!

DONATE HERE

SPREAD THE WORD

Please do share our campaign posts, and tell your friends, family, work colleagues and church congregations about who we are, what we do, and why they should be supporting us! To meet our target we would need 1000 people to give £5, 500 people to give £10, or 5 very generous people to give £1,000 so the more people we can reach, the more likely we are to be able to unlock all of our match funds.

Why Donate to the Princess Project?

A third of children in the UK are now living in poverty. Over 80% of parents report feeling lonely some or all of the time.

New mothers in deprived areas are more likely to be isolated, and experience financial hardship or abuse, according to the Royal College of Psychiatrists, which leads to them being twice as likely to take their own lives than those in more affluent areas.
This is exactly the inequality and injustice we work tirelessly to address at the Princess Project. We work to reduce isolation, reduce financial hardship, and help mums in abusive relationships to find support. And this saves lives.
A third of mums who access Princess Project services live in the bottom 10% most deprived wards in the UK- nearly half live in the bottom 20%. We are targeting our support at those who need it most, and our impact data (see below) tells us that we are making a real difference.
